America, Jane has been featured at the prestigious Just for Laughs, JFL Northwest, Halifax Comedy Festival, Global Comedy Festival, Bumpershoot and Seattle’s International Comedy Competition.

She also co-hosts Vancouverite, an independent monthly show that was selected to be a part of the JFL NorthWest Comedy Festival in 2016. Amber’s absurd colourful style of self-deprecating comedy is based on her upbringing and adult life.

Saturday August 10th:

Brett Martin and Andrea Jin with Headliner Steev Letts

Steev Letts:

Steev is a mildly thuggish but extremely lovable gay oaf. He finds inspiration in the many gross rituals that unite us all, and aims to make you laugh at that which makes you cringe. Steev’s style is loud, sweaty, self-deprecating and oddly sweet. Watching Steev perform is like seeing a caged bear try to befriend its own reflection – equal parts cute and sad with lots of confused grunting and moaning. Steev won the Vancouver’s Funniest Amateur Comic contest in 2016, won the 2018 Vancouver Yuk Off and has performed on showcases for Just For Laughs, JFL Northwest and the Winnipeg Comedy Festival.

Brett Martin:

Brett Martin, despite identifying as Human, is a Comedic Workhorse. He’s been featured in his own ‘Comedy Now’ special on CTV & The Comedy Network, can be downloaded on iTunes and heard on SiriusXM Satellite Radio, hosts Vancouver’s #1 (and only) live Late Night Talk Show, ‘The Brett Martin Show’, headlines various venues across Canada, and much more. And, most amazingly of all – he still finds the time to sleep 9 hours a day. With an effortlessly charming and commanding stage presence, and subject matter that oscillates from insightful to absurd at any time, he’s making a name for himself everywhere he goes, and is, quite simply, a Comedian you should see.

Andrea Jin:

Andrea Jin is a local up and coming standup comedian in Vancouver. She moved here from Shanghai when she was 10 years old, and speaks about the different experiences she’s had as a Chinese immigrant, and also as a regular person. Andrea is frequently featured in comedy clubs and independent shows around the city. She was just featured on a show in the Just For Laughs Northwest Festival.

Saturday August 17th :

Sam Tonning and Harris Anderson, with Headliner Ryan Williams

Ryan Williams:

Ryan Williams is a Comedian and writer in Vancouver, BC. A SiriusXM Comedy Finalist, originally from Kamloops, BC; he moved to Vancouver to play football with the UBC Thunderbirds. He began preforming stand-up comedy soon after moving to the city. He regularly preforms at The Comedy Mix and Yuk Yuks and tours across western Canada. Ryan is known for high energy and surprising wit.

Sam Tonning:

Sam is a silly man. He has silly thoughts and says silly things. These things have been known to make people laugh and feel better than him. He tells dirty jokes. That’s the way it is. He loves long walks on the beach and Phil Collins, and for some reason his high school gym teacher and Whitesnake. Sam produces Musical Jokes, is the sidekick on The Brett Martin Show at Yuk Yuk’s and performs wherever someone will let him. He’s a regular at Yuk Yuk’s Vancouver. Some would say too regular (not his doctor). Sam can be heard on CFRO 100.5 Vancouver Coop Radio as the support act for Guy MacPherson on What’s So Funny? (long, long running comedy interview radio show – it’s awesome).

Harris Anderson:

Fresh off the release of his new album, Harris is described as one of Canadian comedy’s most exciting up and comers, and has been crafting a style that combines voices, impressions, and sharp observations that will leave you wanting more. He fits easily into most overhead luggage areas and has excellent manners. He regularly performs at professional comedy clubs including Yuk Yuks and the Comedy Mix.
