Nick Nemeroff

Nick Nemeroff is a cool and strong guy from Montreal living in LA. So far he’s performed on CONAN, Just For Laughs, and Comedy Central’s Clusterfest. The Hollywood Reporter called Nick a “burgeoning and very funny comedian” and if there’s anyone you can trust, it’s people from Hollywood.

Jane Stanton:

Since breaking onto the Canadian Comedy scene, Jane Stanton has become one of the country’s favourite headliners. With multiple festival appearances across North America, Jane has been featured at the prestigious Just for Laughs, JFL Northwest, Halifax Comedy Festival, Global Comedy Festival, Bumpershoot and Seattle’s International Comedy Competition.

Efthimios Nasiopoulos:

Efthimios is from Toronto, ON. Growing up in a blue collar family and living in a multi-cultural city, gave Efthimios his first influences as a comedian.

His comedy gives us a hysterical insight into human nature and tears down many social conventions we take for granted. While using his acerbic wit and charm, he is able to take audiences to places further than they had expected.

Efthimios has performed at JFL NorthWest, the Hubcap comedy festival, CBC’s The Winnipeg Comedy Festival and CBC’s LOL. You can hear him on Sirius XM where he’s released his first album ‘Efthimios’. It is available on iTunes.

Saturday November 9th:

Sam Tonning and Amber Harper Young with Headliner Dino Archie

Dino Archie:

Dino Archie is a touring stand up comedian.   the Fresno native cut his teeth between Los Angeles, and Vancouver Canada performing stand up full time.  winner of the 36th annual international Seattle comedy competition.  he appeared on season 3 of Adam Devine’s house party on comedy central, and followed up with his network debut on Jimmy Kimmel live.  he has performed at just for laughs new faces.  you can download his two comedy albums: choosey lover, and settling old scores on iTunes.  winner of just for laughs northwest best crowd-work award, you can catch his headliner tour – retired life

Sam Tonning:

Sam is a silly man. He has silly thoughts and says silly things. These things have been known to make people laugh and feel better than him. He tells dirty jokes. That’s the way it is. He loves long walks on the beach and Phil Collins, and for some reason his high school gym teacher and Whitesnake. Sam produces Musical Jokes, is the sidekick on The Brett Martin Show at Yuk Yuk’s and performs wherever someone will let him. He’s a regular at Yuk Yuk’s Vancouver. Some would say too regular (not his doctor). Sam can be heard on CFRO 100.5 Vancouver Coop Radio as the support act for Guy MacPherson on What’s So Funny? (long, long running comedy interview radio show – it’s awesome).

Amber Harper-Young:

Amber was a finalist in BC’s Funniest Female 2014. Her performing highlights include: The Comics Lounge-Melbourne Australia, The Del Close Marathon NYC (Improv), Yuk Yuk’s comedy clubs – Toronto/Ottawa/Vancouver and various other comedy clubs and touring shows across Canada. She also co-hosts Vancouverite, an independent monthly show that was selected to be a part of the JFL NorthWest Comedy Festival in 2016. Amber’s absurd colourful style of self-deprecating comedy is based on her upbringing and adult life.

Saturday November 16th :

Harris Anderson and Robert Peng, with Headliner Yumi Nagashima

Yumi Nagashima:

In less than three years, stand-up comedian and actress Yumi Nagashima has made a large splash on the North American comedy scene with her sassy stage presence and unique point of view. Yumi is a mainstay on the Vancouver comedy scene but she has performed in six different countries (USA, Australia, England, Germany, Japan and Canada.) Robert was recently a finalist at the Seattle Comedy Competition.

Harris Anderson:

Fresh off the release of his new album, Harris is described as one of Canadian comedy’s most exciting up and comers, and has been crafting a style that combines voices, impressions, and sharp observations that will leave you wanting more. He fits easily into most overhead luggage areas and has excellent manners. He regularly performs at professional comedy clubs including Yuk Yuks and the Comedy Mix.

Randee Neumeyer:

Randee Neumeyer is a writer living in Vancouver, BC. She does stand-up comedy and has had sex five or nine times. Appearing in comedy shows all around Vancouver, Randee’s unique performance style is making her one of Vancouver’s favorite home-grown comedians.

Aaron Charles Read:

Aaron Charles Read is a visual artist, comedian, and musician working out of Vancouver BC. He is a regular weekly cast member of The Sunday Service, one of the most popular sketch comedy shows in Vancouver.

Steev Letts:

Steev is a mildly thuggish but extremely lovable gay oaf. He finds inspiration in the many gross rituals that unite us all, and aims to make you laugh at that which makes you cringe. Steev’s style is loud, sweaty, self-deprecating and oddly sweet. Watching Steev perform is like seeing a caged bear try to befriend its own reflection – equal parts cute and sad with lots of confused grunting and moaning. Steev won the Vancouver’s Funniest Amateur Comic contest in 2016, won the 2018 Vancouver Yuk Off and has performed on showcases for Just For Laughs, JFL Northwest and the Winnipeg Comedy Festival.

Jacob Samuel:

Jacob Samuel is a Canadian stand-up comic who has been featured on national TV (the CBC) and radio (also the CBC). He recently headlined Yuk-Yuks in Toronto for four nights.
